Math Program

Pinecone Math Program

The math program begins as early as age three with counting, number recognition, and tracing—simple steps that build memory and prepare students for what comes next. As students grow, work expands to cover word problems, Common Core concepts, fractions, pre-algebra, algebra, and geometry.

Students attend twice weekly and complete short assignments on the other five days. Practice is cumulative—accuracy, correct steps, and showing work matter, and we connect skills to real situations students might encounter in school and daily life.

For example, estimating can turn a messy grocery trip into a quick mental exercise: if apples are on sale, about how much will you save compared to last week? We help students see math as a language for solving problems, not only a set of rules.
