Structured practice that builds confidence from counting through algebra.

Overview

Pinecone Learning is a supplemental program for students from preschool through high school. We combine structured daily practice with in-person guidance so children build fluency, accuracy, and lasting confidence in math, reading, writing—and, in our Adventures in AI series, the judgment to use technology wisely.

Students attend class twice weekly and complete short assignments on other days. The work is cumulative: small steps repeated until they become second nature, then stretched with application and word problems that mirror real schoolwork and real life.

AI literacy helps children distinguish human judgment from statistical prediction, notice bias, communicate clearly with tools, and use technology ethically. Our workshop introduces these ideas in age-appropriate ways—so students learn to think, even when technology “thinks” with them.

“My husband and I decided to put all three of our kids in Pinecone last January. We were looking for a program that would help improve both reading/writing and math. At the time, our kids were 4, 6 and 8. We noticed an immediate improvement in my 6-year-old. Her reading and math turned a corner very quickly.
